Chakradance is a healing modality that combines dance therapy and movement meditation that focuses on the body's energy centres, known as chakras, connecting you to the sacred within, allowing you to rediscover your unique and beautiful soul.
Key Elements of Chakradance:
Chakra Focus: The practice revolves around the seven main chakras. Each session focuses on one chakra at a time, using specific music, movement, and visualisations tailored to that chakra's associated energy and qualities.
Music and Movement: Chakradance uses music specifically designed to resonate with each chakra. Participants are encouraged to move freely and intuitively, allowing the music and their bodies to guide them. The movements are spontaneous rather than choreographed, allowing for personal expression and emotional release.
Meditation and Visualisation: Along with movement, guided visualisations and meditations are used to deepen the connection with the chakras. These involve imagining colours, symbols, or scenarios that correspond with the energy of the specific chakra being worked on.
Safe Space: Classes are held in a dimly lit room to create a safe and non-judgmental environment, encouraging participants to close their eyes and focus inward, allowing for a deeper, more personal experience.
Every time we dance our chakras, we heal a little, addressing the next unresolved, unprocessed or unexpressed layers within us. With each dance our vibrational frequency shifts, bringing in a sense of balance and joy as we become lighter and clearer. As our frequency evolves, we start to attract new opportunities, experiences or people, that resonate with this higher vibration.
The sessions end with participants creating a personal mandala artwork to help 'anchor' their experience.
Sessions are 90 minutes and available in-person either 1:1 or group.
£15 per group session or £120 for a 9 week group course
£40 per 1:1 session or £320 for a 9 week 1:1 course
